Purchasing Options:
The Jay Johansen Studio accepts a wide range of payment options. You can use a credit card with complete security through PayPal. We also accept checks and money orders. Most banks will print and mail a payment to the Studio with an automated BillPay feature on most banking websites.
If an art lover does not want to pay the full amount up front for a print or original work of art, the Studio will hold any piece of art for a client on a payment plan. The initial cost can be reduced into installments and we will ship the artwork when it is fully paid for.
The Jay Johansen Studio charges NO INTEREST. You simply decide how much you want to pay each month on installment, and the price of the art plus the shipping is divided into monthly payments. Your installment plan can be customized in the shopping cart. We will send you one email a month as a reminder of that month's installment payment, and you can pay using a credit card through PayPal, or by check or money order. You can also have PayPal or your bank generate an eCheck using your secure Bank Account information. Checks and money orders should be mailed to the Studio at:

Shipping Options:
The Jay Johansen Studio ensures that every precaution is taken when shipping your art. All prints, giclees and originals can be safely rolled and shipped via heavy duty shipping tubes. The smaller prints can be shipped flat when secured between multiple layers of cardboard to arrive flat and unbent.
We ship through the US Postal Service, and every shipment valued above $100 is insured by the Studio. Shipping art in strong metal and cardboard tubes is the safest method of shipping art, and is the most common method worldwide. If a client prefers that we use a different method of shipping such as FedEx or UPS, the Studio will gladly use another shipping provider, although this may change the shipping cost for the client.
The Jay Johansen Studio ships worldwide.
We have never had any shipping mishaps, but in the event that your art is lost or damaged, the Jay Johansen Studio will replace the art or refund the value insured minus the shipment cost.
Printing Method And Quality:
Jay Johansen Studio puts quality first when it comes to printing method. We use the finest quality materials and latest technology for the printing process.
First, the original painting is photographed professionally, and a large-format negative is created. A large negative ensures that the finished print will be as sharp and finely detailed as the original.
Every print is color calibrated under the artist's supervision, and only archival, gallery quality inks are used. The Studio selects the most archival, acid and lignin free paper with an especially heavy weight so that the color is saturated and rich, and is guaranteed against fading according to the manufacturer's specifications. Each print is also coated with a clear protective layer as an additional protection for the life of each piece of art. The artist personally signs large prints and all giclees, and the large giclees are a numbered limited edition.
About Limited Edition Art:
The signature and edition number is a guarantee that the print meets the artist's quality standards, and that the edition will not exceed the number stated. "Johansen, 1/250" means that the artist has approved the print, and that will be the only number 1 ever produced out of the total of 250.
